| Postulancy
- Pre Novitiate
Period
of Christian and spiritual growth of the postulant which will
lead her to the maturity that will allow her to respond freeely
to Jesus, call (const 100). |
| Novitiate
The
purpose of the novitiate is to train the novice more directly
for the religious life. The novice will be helped to develop
a personal love for Jesus (const 109). |
| Religious
Profession
The
consecration to God is expressed in religious vows of chastity,
poverty and obedience. By them we make a covenant of love
with the Lord (const 125). |
| The
Juniorate
The
principal aim of the juniorate is to ensure that the young
professed sister deepens her formation, learns to know Christ’s
message better, and prepares herself to convey it to others
(const 142). |
| Perpetual
Vows
With
perpetual vows, the religious becomes fully a sacred person,
a Christian committed to God and the Church, living out her
baptism and sealed by God as reserved for His worship (const
152). |
